PHULLEN HISTORICAL SOCIETY (PHS)
INTRODUCTION:
Phullen Historical Society (PHS) is a non-political, not for profit organization, established on the 1st April 2018 at Aizawl, Mizoram. It was formed by the following persons:

Pu Lalbuatsaiha Tuikhuahtlang
Pu Malsawmdawngkima Chhinga veng
Tv Lalnunzira Zote Phullen
BACKGROUND:
The Phullen Historical Society began from the urging of the community in 2017 as the interest persons in the community used to discussed the need for an organization in Phullen that would preserve the records and objects related to the history of Phullen. The plans were made for the formation of a historical society in Phullen. From the start, our mission was to collect and preserve Phullen’s stories in all their forms and planning to published a book on Phullen history called Phullen Encyclopedia.
The formal meeting held on 1st April, 2018 Sunday was attended by the three founding member – Vanthuampuia, Malsawmdawngkima and Lalbuatsaiha at Aizawl. This meeting decided and approved the name of the society called Phullen Historical Society and also approved the 1st April was the foundation day of the society.

The society appointed the following persons for its Senior Advisers –
1. Prof. JV Hluna Sikulpuikawn - Sr Adviser
2. Lalbiakdanga Ramhlun South - Sr Adviser
3. Pu J.Pachhunga Phullen - Sr Adviser
The society formed the office bearers of the society as follows -
1. Chairman - Vanthuampuia Phullen
2. Vice Chairman - Lalruatsanga Pautu Phullen
3. Secretary - Lalbuatsaiha Tuikhuahtlang
4. Asst Secretary - PC Ramdinthara Phullen / Armed Veng
5. Treasurer - Malsawmdawngkima Chhinga veng / Kolasib
6. Fin. Secretary - Lalnunzira Zote Phullen / Zawlnuam
7. Info. Secretary - Lalsiamkima Zote Phullen / Ramhlun
LEGAL STATUS:
Phullen Historical Society is an organization registered under the Mizoram Societies Registration Act (Act No 13 of 2005) bearing Registration No. MSR 1014 of 27.02.2019.
